Q loxodrome or
Q rhumb line or
Q constant bearing line
Definition
1 The line drawn to draw the distance between two l on the graticules drawn for drawing a map by axis and longitude is called rumb line or loxodome.V
2 When a straight line is drawn between two points on the globe, the origin of the angle is called rumb line or loxodrome.
3 A straight line drawn on the projection of the marketer intersects all the longitudes at a certain angle and is marked as a straight line pointing in a certain direction. It is called rumb line or loxodrome.
4 Since the longitudes of the marketer projection are parallel straight lines, any other straight line drawn on it intersects the longitudes at the same angle and creates angles equal to all the latitudes (at the points of intersection). This results in the formation of a constant bearing line over the globe. Such a line is called loxodrome or rumb line.
Characteristih
1 No loxodro or rumb line is required when drawing all types of projections.
2 A straight line drawn on a protruding roller projection or any other cylindrical projection intersects all longitude lines at certain angles, but not a rumb line.
3 In the case of the loxodrome or the rumb line, the radial scale and the tangential scale of the projection are equal to each other.
4 The loxodrome or rumb line is represented as a straight line in the marketer projection and the locomodrome or rumb line is presented as a curve in the mnemonic projection.
5 A straight line above the marketer's projection. This is known as loxodrome or rumb line.
Use or significance
1 The straight line loxodrome or rumb line (radial scale and tangen-seal scale are equal to each other) drawn on the marketers projection, so any two distant places for navigation of aircraft and ships can be connected with rumb line.
2 In the case of the polar region the straight line drawn on the mnemonic projection (although some are straight lines divided into smaller sections) the rumb line is therefore used to propel aircraft and ships. That is to say, the use of marketer projections in the movement of aircraft and ships is limited to the latitudes from which the mnemonic projections are used for the same purpose.
Loxodrome and mercator's projection.
1 The straight lines in a market projection are the direction of continuity and the direction of direction. A straight line drawn on this projection intersects the longitudinal angles at a certain angle. And to say the right direction on this projection. The same bearing is maintained at the intersection points of the longitudinal lines with the drawn straight line, i.e. the radial scale and the tangential scale are equal to each other. Thus a straight line drawn on the projection of the marketer is a fixed direction or continuous direction and a straight line pointing in the right direction. This line is known as the lochrodom or rumb line.
2 Although the loxodrome or rumb line drawn on the marketer's projection is not the shortest distance, it is very important for sea voyage as it points in the right direction and constant direction or continuous direction. In other words, the loxodrome or rumb line is a straight line with specific bearings in the market projection, so any distance between two distant places for a ship or aviation has to be covered with a rhumb line or loxodrome.
3 Ships or planes want to follow the shortest route at sea or in the sky to save both time and money. That is why ships or planes move along the Mahabritta path. The arc is the shortest path between any two places on the earth. Adding two points along the elliptical path in the market projection will make the line curved and the bearing will be variable. Therefore, if the path of the arc is divided into several small sections and the points are connected by a straight line (which becomes a loxodrome), the ship or aircraft will have to cover a short distance, that is, it will be able to travel between two places in less time and less cost.
Suppose ABCDE is a great circle route or the pressure of the great circle route (AE simple rumballine) it is divided into AB, BC, CD and DE locksodrome (marked as rumb line). Although the distance along these lines is a little longer, one advantage is that the ship or aircraft only needs to change direction at points B, C, D. So loxodromes are essential for getting the right direction in the market projection.
